If we're busy and can't answer, we'll get back to you as soon as possible. 

Domestic Shipping:

Most orders arrive in 7-10 days.  If an item is out of stock, we'll email you a delivery date - most backorders are just a few weeks. We'll email to confirm your order; as soon as it ships, we'll send another email with the Tracking Number.  Occasionally, we drop-ship direct from the mill to speed things up, and may not have a Tracking Number for you.  If your fabric arrives damaged, please retain all packaging materials and contact us immediately so we can take care of it.

Sample orders are sent by First Class mail.  Yardage orders are usually shipped UPS or Fedex. Most orders of less than 3 yards are shipped in an envelope. Orders of more than 3 yards are rolled on a standard fabric tube.

 INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: For  Canada, Australia and the U.K. :  your order will ring up as $0 for shipping.  We'll confirm your order and send a link with an invoice for the actual shipping cost. Simply pay the shipping and we'll ship your order.  Email us your address and desired order for a shipping quote.

We regret that Free Shipping is not available to Alaska, Hawaii and some other places - however, you'll receive a discounted rate.

Return Policy:

Since fabric sales involve cutting the fabric, all sales on SlipcoverFabrics.com are final, just like any fabric shop.  Please order a swatch first to see the color and weight of the fabric.  If you receive a fabric that is flawed or damaged, please let us know so we can exchange it for you right away.

Stock Info:

Most of our fabrics are in stock; sometimes we run out, but we can usually have them back in stock within a few days to a week.  If your fabric is out of stock when you order, we'll email you with a delivery date.  We deal primarily with mills that either produce or stock their fabrics in the U.S. to avoid delays, but occasionally we may have a backorder.  If this happens, we'll email you with the lead time.

Warranties:

Sunbrella and Outdura offer warranties against fading from sun exposure.  Of course, any fabric exposed to sun wll fade, but outdoor fabrics do so much more slowly so they are a great choice for sunny rooms.  Chenille fabrics and some outdoor canvas have higher durability ratings than cotton and are considered Performance (heavy duty) fabrics; however, pets can do damage to even a very durable fabric by digging and scratching.  In general, manufacturer's fabric warranties won't cover fabrics' performance in heavy-use environments such a resort rental,  or where pets are concerned, so having some extra fabric for repairs or to make a pet mat is a great idea.
 

Cotton and linen slipcover fabrics are intended to be used for medium-duty furniture applications.  In the average home environment they will last for several years.   Keep in mind that just like clothing, the more a fabric is laundered the more quickly it will wear out.  If you expect to be laundering your slipcover frequently (or have messy pets and small children) order some extra fabric for repairs.
